Neurofeedback has sincerely changed my life. Before I started getting treatment I suffered from severe mood swings and terrible migraines. Both of these things stopped me from having a social life, staying at jobs, and just going out during the day was hard. Once I started neurofeedback my migraines and mood swings decreased in frequency and in intensity. This is something I hadn't had relief from in years. My moods started to even out more and more, it was helping me to stay focused and keeping my energy balanced. Neurofeedback has and will continue to help me for the better.

More than 9 years ago I started with symptoms of vertigo, tinnitus, fullness in the ear, light sensitivity and sensitivity to noise. Over the years I have been treated for ear infections, sinus infections, given prescription glasses that were unnecessary. After a good 4 years of being misdiagnosed, I finally found a good ENT who properly diagnosed me with Meniere’s disease. Meniere’s disease is described as a disorder of the inner ear that has no known cause and no none cure. For years I tried different medications, changes in my diet, restricting activities, adding supplementation. Even with all of these changes I had made, I received little to no relief. Well about two years ago I found Deborah Marcus. She told me about low lens neurofeedback therapy. She explained the process to me and the benefits it can have for overall neuropathic support. She never once claimed it would cure me, but she took a chance and so did I. At this point I’ve tried damn near everything and I was willing to try damn near anything to get my symptoms under control. If it didn’t help with my Meniere’s, Deborah was sure it would positively impact my anxiety and depression. Well sure enough, after starting treatment with Deborah, after each and every session, my symptoms started to dissipate. First I noticed I was able to focus my eyes better, then the light sensitivity started to get better. But, the biggest success for me was the vertigo. Before I wasn’t able to simply turn my head slowly from left to right. Now, I am able to do a little spin if I wanted to without feeling like falling. It sounds like a small victory but it means everything to me. I was losing hope and I feared that eventually this disease was just going to progress and it was going to take over my life. Because of the treatments, and emotional support that Deborah offers, I am able to do the simple daily tasks that I wouldn't even dream of doing before. And as I hoped, the cherry on top, it has made my anxiety much more manageable. Deborah Marcus helped me take my life back and I am grateful for her and the support that she offers for overall mental health and wellness. |
I look forward to my neurofeedback sessions because I know that afterwards I will be super clear, which allows me to be very productive. I have found that since I began the neurofeedback treatments, I have been able to accomplish detailed tasks in less time because of my increased focus and attention. Karissa Its amazing the difference and impact this therapy has on me. I'm very grateful to you for introducing me to it. I feel so calm today and focused. I was dizzy, had headaches, and couldn't even stand up at one point. Going to the fair with my kids was impossible to tolerate because of the crowd, noise and spinning rides. My equilibrium was totally off. It wasn't until talking with Deb did I realize I had concussive symptoms. I agreed to try neurofeedback, never thinking the treatments would work that quick and get rid of my concussion. I noticed change from the start, and only needed 4 treatments, and I was symptom free for good! I love it for my athletic performance training as well. I highly recommend LENS neurofeedback. LENS has helped me get through and extremely difficult time in my life. I was over-come by grief, loss, anxiety, and depression. It caused my impulsive behavior to heighten where I was making poor life choices for myself and my children. After neurofeedback treatment (coupled with talk therapy) I was able to gain clarity and a sense of who I really was. Furthermore, it resulted in a lifechanging decision that I was unable to make for the past decade. I am able to walk through my pain without choosing to suffer. I am starting my life again at 55. Its never too late to start over. Debbie is amazing and has truly been an integral part of this journey I am on. LENS was the vehicle I needed to start it. |
LENS Neurofeedback with Deb has changed my life! I was on medication for ADHD for the last 20 years and have successfully gotten off of it, after only 5 or 6 treatments! I have been calmer, sleeping better, and more creative. I can't believe the change in me! Thank you Deb for giving me a new life!! I have plantar fasciitis and have been in terrible pain. I didn't want to get a cortisone shot and endured the pain for days. My neighbor told me about infrared laser treatments. I went yesterday and again today. My pain is completely gone. I am a true believer. G.L The neurofeedback sessions have helped my mind feel less and less clouded with anxious thoughts. After each session I think with more clarity which helps me have more rational thinking in anxious situations. I could never explain how life changing therapy has been for me. It has taught me how to be better for and to myself. We often forget to take care of ourselves when we need it the most. To me, therapy is taking care of yourself with someone who is dedicated to helping you. I never thought I would make it, but I did and I couldn't have done it without therapy. Our daughter has definitely benefited from neurofeedback, and we noticed a change from the first session! She has anxiety issues and went from crying and obsessing over things, and needing us to calm her down and reassure her...to being able to calm herself down and not dwell on issues that were upsetting her. She's doing really well! I would definitely recommend neuro-feedback!!! I have a sense of calmness and peace that everyone could benefit from. |
Deb is a great therapist and has been very beneficial for me. She is very skilled in multiple different types of therapy. She does neurofeedback with me each week and after each session I feel less anxious and more motivated. We have also done heart math which teaches you breathing techniques during anxious moments or situations. She has taught me ways to change my thinking from negative thoughts to more rational ones. I feel so much calmer after seeing her each week. She has always made me feel very comfortable and has made it easy to open up without judgement. She knows just how far to push you to make changes without being unrealistic in what you can handle. She is constantly learning new ways to better help her patients, which I think is exactly what you want in a therapist.
