Deborah Marcus, LCSW received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Clark University in Worcester, MA and a Masters in Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Deborah believes in helping clients move towards personal growth & wellness one moment/one thought at a time, and favors the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As a LENS practitioner, she has incorporated Neurofeedback as a focal point of passion and expertise in the treatment of various conditions. Deborah is grateful to have had 21 years of experience in varied medical settings, AND approaches therapy with a holistic mind, recognizing the relevance of both Eastern and Western medicine to aid in mental health treatment approaches. Deborah is trained in Heart Rate Variability and uses HeartMath technology to assist clients in regulating heart coherence, creating a sound, calm, mind/body connection. She has had great success using LENS, Bioregulation Therapy, BodyLENS therapy, Cold Laser therapy, and the photonic stimulator in the treatment of concussions, migraines, Meniere’s disease, anxiety, mood, sleep, motor function, executive function, sensory processing D/O, PTSD, management of substance use D/O, pain related to injury, and acute and chronic illness & more!
Jessica Rodican, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor whoearned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Connecticut State University. She has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including the home environment, residential placements, and outpatient settings, providing therapeutic strategies and crisis intervention. Jessica uses a multi-model approach to therapy, including CBT, DBT, and solutions focused intervention to treat individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral difficulties. Jessica is a trained practitioner of Low Energy Neurofeedback. With impeccable clinical skills, Jessica employs LENS as an incredibly successful form of treatment for her clients.
Laura DeLucia, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received a Bachelor of Social Work degree at Eastern Connecticut State University and a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut. Laura has experience in working with people across the life span with skills in crisis intervention, group work, clinical case management and individual outpatient therapy. She is experienced with children/adolescents and adults in managing anxiety and depression. Laura sees each client as unique individuals and builds off of their strengths to best help them cope with any psychosocial stressors. Laura is a trained practitioner of LENS Neurofeedback and utilizes it to best facilitate growth and awareness throughout treatment.
Jennifer Anastasio, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and families. Jennifer graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Jennifer received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Connecticut. Jennifer also has a post-Master’s certificate in foster care and adoption. Jennifer is passionate about working with children and teenagers because of their potential malleability and, often, the enthusiasm they bring to treatment. Jennifer treats a variety of clinical issues, including, but not limited to , anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, as well as providing support during life transitions, parental divorce and grief and loss. Jennifer brings a joyful approach to her work each day, in getting to know her clients and establishing rapport. Jennifer often uses CBT approaches in therapy, as well as thinking creatively about each child and their needs, and how to understand complex thoughts and emotions, in simple, understandable ways. Jennifer is a trained provider of LENS Neurofeedback and uses this is in conjunction with psychotherapy approaches.
Nicole Rodican, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whoearned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies at The University of Connecticut and a Master of Social Work degree at Fordham University. She has several years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including the home environment, residential placements, and outpatient settings, providing therapeutic strategies and crisis intervention. Nicole strives to engage client’s and families in a collaborative, individualized and fulfilling treatment process. Nicole is passionate about acting as an advocate and role model to her clients, while utilizing a positive attitude, motivational skills, and excellent communication to establish rapport and develop a therapeutic relationship. She incorporates a multi-model approach to include the use of CBT, DBT and a strengths-based perspective to treat individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorders and behavioral difficulties. Nicole is a trained practitioner of Low Energy Neurofeedback. Nicole utilizes LENS in conjunction with psychotherapy as a way to foster growth and success within her clients.
Marissa Butler, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Marissa implements a multi-model approach including person-centered, solution-focused, play, and cognitive behavioral therapy based on the needs of the children, adolescents, and adults she works with. She enjoys rapport building and client engagement, and treats every therapeutic relationship differently. Marissa is a trained practitioner of Low Energy Neurofeedback. In session, Marissa often utilizes LENS, Bioregulation Therapy, BodyLENS Therapy, Low Level Laser therapy, Heart Rate Variability along with traditional therapy to increase the success of her clients.
Rebecca Halbert, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Masters in Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She has several years of experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and the elderly in a variety of settings, including the home environment, hospitals, schools, and other outpatient settings. Rebecca's experience includes case management, contingency management, risk management, substance abuse, crisis intervention, and individual psychotherapy. Rebecca emphasizes building a strong rapport and utilizes a strength-based approach to empower her clients. Rebecca is a trained practitioner in LENS Neurofeedback, which she utilizes in conjunction with psychotherapy to increase most optimal success for her clients.
Judy Cullen, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern CT State University, specializing in mental health and substance abuse disorders. She completed a Postgraduate Fellowship in Clinical Social Work at Yale University School of Medicine. Judy views counseling as an opportunity to be wholly seen and heard. She supports her clients in identifying dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns and helps them develop new and more present-based ways of functioning. Her approach is compassionate and supportive while exploring a plan to move out of what is causing challenges and heal old wounds to thrive in life. Judy’s methods are eclectic, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Self-Regulation techniques to manage a variety of clinical issues. She aims to create a compassionate, safe, and supportive space by providing a warm setting with validation, laughter, and empathy. Judy is a trained practitioner in LENS Neurofeedback and employs this in conjunction with therapy to foster her clients’ optimal functioning.
Kelly Camp, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker who received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in mental health from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work, with a clinical concentration in children and families from Southern Connecticut State University. Kelly has recently continued her education and obtained a 6th year certification in Educational Leadership. Kelly has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in residential, out-patient, home based services and therapeutic schools. Kelly is skilled in crisis intervention, behavior modification, navigating systems, clinical case management, group work and individual out-patient therapy. She is experienced in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, school difficulties and family issues. Kelly works early on in sessions to build a positive rapport and provide clients with a supportive environment, in order to meet mutually agreed upon treatment goals. Kelly is a trained practitioner in LENS Neurofeedback.
